425 contrast detection points cover 84% of the sensor area making sure that the images are crisp and clean. The autofocus time has reduced to 0.02 seconds which results in super accurate and fast autofocus. Sony has a unique feature EYE AF system that allows the camera to automatically detect eye of the person in focus. This feature not only works on human but is also helpful in wildlife photography too.

Sony A6400 can record video at 4K resolution with 30 fps and 1080p at 120fps. It is the first camera in the Sony line-up to record video in HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) so that one can shoot HDR ready video directly from the camera. S log2 and S log3 give the freedom of professional color grading in the post and the touch screen help to select manually too. The superlight body make it a perfect choice for the vloggers and the ability of the touch screen to tilt 180 degree makes it ideal.
