Comparison between Nikon Z50 vs Nikon D7500
The comparison between Z50 vs D7500 might not look fair to many and people might already think that the newer, smaller mirrorless camera is the winner but there’s more to this than meets the eye. Nikon Z50 is Nikon’s first APS-C mirrorless camera, which uses the same Nikon Z lens mount but a smaller APS-C sensor.
Both the cameras have 20.9 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensors this might look the same but are not. Z50 has on-sensor detection autofocus which D7500 lacks and has a newer processor EXPEED-6. The new processor gives the edge of faster processing speed in continuous shooting and improved image quality in higher ISO. Both of these cameras offer an ISO range of 100–51200 in standard range but D7500 takes this to way up to 1640000 in the expanded mode. This doesn’t necessarily mean D7500 can produce better images as compared to Z50 in expanded mode, it’s just an added feature to the D7500 list.
Having a 3.2-inch touch screen on both of these cameras greatly helps with photography and gives the freedom of taking shots at a difficult angle. Z50 screen can also be flipped which makes it more popular among the vlogger and the influencer market. Nikon D7500 has 51 autofocus points and is able to capture amazing images. However, Z50 has 201 autofocus points on senor detection. Giving the photographer the freedom of capturing high pace action. The shutter speed offered by Z 50 is 1/4000 per sec but D7500 offers 1/8000 per sec that is much higher.
The video capabilities of both these cameras are the same maximum output being UHD 4k uncropped video. The Z50 can record full HD up to 120fps but D7500 max outs on 60fps. The better autofocus on Z50 makes it a better choice for video and the additional advantage of the front screen helps a lot in the recording. Both have some amazing features and produce maximum quality images & videos The choice between these two highly depends on the requirements of the photographer. Khawajaphotos.pk offers both these cameras at the price and also offer the accessories required.
